Twelve Steps with God (Part 2)

This is a 14 week Recovery Training Course in Steps Seven through Twelve. You will be trained in how to effectively counsel those who are addicted.

Note: Students must complete Part 1 before becoming eligible for Part 2. 

COURSE OUTLINE

  • Learn the role of repentance in recovery 
  • Learn the role of humility in recovery
  • Understand the discipline of making amends
  • Understand how the old nature and new nature operate
  • Articulate a new way of thinking
  • Practice counseling using steps seven through twelve
  • Workbook completion and journal entry

  • Biblical principles and precepts 
  • How to effectively counsel those who are addicted and substance abusers
  • Step overviews to assist in understanding, working, and preparing for the steps
  • How to review common dysfunctional behavior characteristics
  • Recovery principles dev otional that will build an excellent guide for recovery
  • How to examine recovery profiles to glean important recovery lessons from Bible characters
  • The role of submission
  • Common behavior characteristics
  • The role of conversion
